Our Achievements

2014
	ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 In December we achieved certification of both ISO 9001, the quality management standard and ISO 14001, the environmental management standard. Quality is of paramount importance to us so we were delighted when we got the news.
	NWUPC Framework Agreement We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to become a preferred supplier of Promotional Merchandise and Clothing via the NWUPC Framework Agreement.
	BPMA Distributor of the Year 2014 In January we were delighted to receive the award for Distributor of the Year 2014 again at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. We thank all our customers and suppliers for their continued support. Angela had a special treat and got to meet the fantastic dance team, Diversity.
	Celebrating 15 years in business This year we are celebrating 15 years in business. It's been an amazing journey so far with lots of successes. To commemorate this milestone, we have refreshed our logo and committed to raising money each month for various charities. Keep up to date with all our activities by reading our blog.

2013
	Finalist 'Distributor of the Year' In January we found ourselves finalists again for the prestigious BMPA 'Distributor of the Year' award. We are always proud to be nominated for this award as it is voted by the people in the industry.
	Ecommerce division launched After purchasing printing and engraving machinery, we are now able to offer personalised gifts, great for one-off gifts or those needed in a hurry.
	Retaining our Gold status In December we were reassessed by Investors in People and are delighted to have kept our Gold Status accreditation. Our IIP Assessor said "In Allwag Promotions Ltd you have created a successful business which sets high standards and achieves them. You have recruited and developed a very capable team who demonstrate a strong commitment to the company and its clients. As directors of the company, you continue to be excellent role models, and your employees feel inspired and motivated by you."
	Page Group We have recently joined the Page buying consortium which in turn will give our customers even greater savings.
	New faces Joining our established team this year are Taylor Rose, Lauren Craske, Rebecca Agombar and Laura Halford. Read all about them in our About Us section

2012
	BPMA Distributor of the Year In January we were delighted to receive the award for Distributor of the Year 2012 at the Ricoh Arena in the company of popstar, Olly Murs! What a wonderful achievement! So proud of our team (and our suppliers who make wonders happen for us too)

2011
	BPMA Charter Distributor Status 2011 saw the promotions of our BPMA status to 'Charter Distributor' recognised as adding core values and benefits to the advantage of the purchasing process. A close analogy is the 'Corgi' registered gas man and ABTA registered travel agencies and tour operators.
	Distributor of the Year...Again! For the second year running we were awarded the Sourcing City Distributor of the Year! Another trophy to add to the cabinet!

2010
	Distributor of the Year We were awarded 1st place in the Sourcing City Distributor of the Year Award, voted for by customers and suppliers within the industry.
	Going for Gold We are very proud to have furthered our commitment to the Investors in People and are delighted to have achieved Gold status.

2009
	We are a Green Achiever In 2009 we registered to become part of the Green Achiever scheme which shows that we are constantly working to become a greener and more environmentally friendly business which supports our environmental ethics policy. 	BPMA member for 10 years! A 10 year accredited member, is a company that has been a member for at least 10 years and means that Allwag Promotions is financially sound. This shows our customers that we abide by the BPMA code of conduct ensuring standards are met at the highest level.
	BPMA Distributor of the Year As well as gaining the status of a 10 year accredited member, we were also the BPMA 2009 Distributor of the Year!
	We've Moved! In 2009 due to the rapid growth of the company we moved offices to the fantastic location of Braxted Park Estate!

2008
	Internet Shopping is Safe As an online retailer we achieved the status of accredited retailed for the ISIS scheme. This enchanced trustmark scheme offers an international standard that is widely recognised in many European countries, meaning customers will know they can trust our site. It is now partnered with Trusted Shops which now offers buyer protection and customer feedback elements and we are proud to have passed all audit criteria required by ISIS/ Trusted Shops.
	New Website Launched 2008 saw the launch of our new website which was awarded the Mid Essex Business Award - E-Business category.
	Allwag Promotions supports award winning conservation charity; Trees For Life Allwag Promotions has established its own expanding grove of native trees, supporting the restoration of the Calendonian Forest in the Scottish Highlands. This is as part of a scheme which helps create a fantastic habitat for wildlife and people, as well as being a simple, positive step in the fight against climate change. Trees For Life is a pioneering charity in ecological restoration. It aims to restore the Calendonian Forest to an area of 1,500 square kilometres in the Highlands, west of Inverness. Only 1% of the original Calendonian Forest, which covered most of the Scottish Highlands remains after centuries of overgrazing and timber production. On Sunday 20th May, wildlife camera man and film maker Gordon Buchanan will plant the Millionth tree since beginning in 1989. Visit www.treesforlife.org.uk for more information.

2007
	Winners of STEP Marketing Category This year's STEP student embarked on an 8 week research/ marketing project to help us understand our customer's needs. Ciarra's outstanding achievements enabled her to win her marketing category. Ciarra also won a prize for Best Presentation of the entire competition.
	Investors in People Recognition We are delighted with our re-recognition report from Investors in People, which stated the following: "Directors have developed a very clear vision and strategy for the development of the business with very thorough and detailed planning" "Effective management: hardworking but relaxed in approach, supportive, flexible and family friendly, built good teamwork ethos"

2006
	Having spent 2 years working hard to achieve many awards, we decided to now pursue some Tenders both Public and Private sectors. Whilst we don't want to give all our secrets away, we are delighted to announce that we have won several major Tenders which has increased the number of contracts that we manage to 15 in total.

2005
	This year was our year for marketing! Working with our 2 STEP students, 2 of our new websites won prestigious awards for Marketing and IT capability. Our www.recruitmentpromoproducts.co.uk won 1st prize in the IT & Marketing Category for offering unique industry related products to specific core industries.
	Essex in Boom Finalist in the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2005 Commended for our keenness to 'stay one step ahead' of our competitors and understanding importance of excellent customer care.

2004
	Essex Business Awards 2004 in: Best Small Business and Growing Business.
