It seems a lifetime ago that we won our first awards – Best Small Business and Growing Business - in the Essex Business Awards 2004. We’ve grown steadily since then through our strategic approach to business development. 

And we’ve enjoyed significant success each year, thanks to the professionalism of our supply chain, supportive clients, and our dedicated team.

2019

BPMA - Distributor of the Year 
Team Allwag were honoured to receive the British Promotional Merchandise Association's Distributor of the Year Award, acclaiming us as one of the top suppliers of promotional merchandise in the UK for the fourth consecutive year! 

Awarded NWUPC Framework 
Allwag Promotions have been awarded a four year contract to become a preferred supplier of promotional merchandise and branded clothing for universities. This achievement extends on from 2014 when we originally became part of the NWUPC framework. 

Retained ISO 9001 & 14001 Certification 
To show our commitment to protecting the environment and developing our business we comply with ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard and ISO 14001 Enviromental Management Standard.


2018

Digital Doughnut - Best Offline Marketing Award - Finalist Allwag Promotions
Allwag Promotions were  ecstatic to be nominated as a finalist for Digital Doughnut's Best Offline Marketing Award at 2018's B2B Marketing Conference. This recognition proves that promotional products still play a vital role in offline marketing and brand promotion.  

Page Partnership - Distributor of the Year - Gold
Once again, Allwag Promotions were recognised as the one of the industry's 'gold' distributors, nominated by industry suppliers.  

BPMA - Distributor of the Year 
For the third consecutive year, Team Allwag received the prestigious BPMA's (British Promotional Merchandise Association) Distributor of the Year Award, recognising us as one of the nation's leading promotional merchandise suppliers. 

Sourcing City - Distributor of the Year  - Runner Up
This year, Allwag Promotions moved up a category in the industry leading 'Sourcing City Annual Awards.' Despite this massive into the £3m+ turnover group, we came third in the industry!  


2017

Retained Investors in People Gold Standard  
 Since 2010, Allwag Promotions has retained the Investors in People Gold status, meaning that we have continuously developed and maintained a culture for growth and productivity, as well as investing in our team. 

BPMA - Distributor of the Year 
For the second year running. we were recognised by the industry's suppliers as the favourite promotional product distributor (£2m-£5m category). 

Page Partnership - Distributor of the Year - Gold
Team Allwag were overjoyed to be recognised for their contribution to the promotional merchandise by an industry leading catalogue group. 


2016

BPMA - Employer of the Year 
We were delighted to win the Employer of the Year award at this year's BPMA Conference.

After being a finalist for the award in 2015, Allwag Promotions received this prestigious industry recognition from the British Promotional Merchandise Association.

Sourcing City - Distributor of the Year

Quality management standard - ISO 9001 and environmental management standard ISO 14001. These certifications demonstrate our dedication to providing quality and helping to safeguard the environment. 

NWUPC Framework Agreement. Being awarded the contract to become a preferred supplier of promotional merchandise and clothing, via the NWUPC Framework Agreement, was a proud moment for us.

Winners - BPMA Distributor of the Year 2014. This is a special award as people within the industry vote for the nominees. So a huge thank-you to all our customers and suppliers. And special thanks from Angela who got to meet the dance troupe – Diversity – at the awards ceremony! 

Angela Wagstaff became Vice Chair on the Board of the British Promotional Merchandise Association.



2013


BPMA Distributor of the Year 
We delighted to be nominated for this prestigious award for the second year running.

Retained Investors in People Gold status following reassessment. Our IIP assessor said, "In Allwag Promotions Ltd you have created a successful business which sets high standards and achieves them. You have recruited and developed a very capable team who demonstrate a strong commitment to the company and its clients. As directors of the company, you continue to be excellent role models, and your employees feel inspired and motivated by you."

2008


ISIS accredited online retailer. This trust mark scheme is an international standard widely recognised in many European countries, so customers know they can trust our site. It’s partnered with Trusted Shops, which offers buyer protection and customer feedback elements. 

Newly launched website awarded the Mid Essex Business Award - E-Business category for outstanding achievement and ecommerce development for a small business.



2007


Shells Technology Enterprise Programme  (STEP) – marketing category winners. Our STEP student undertook an eight-week research project, focused on marketing, to help us understand our customers’ needs. As well as winning the marketing category, our student, Ciarra Holloway, also won Best Presentation award. 

Investors in People recognition. The report stated: "Directors have developed a very clear vision and strategy for the development of the business with very thorough and detailed planning. Effective management: hardworking but relaxed in approach, supportive, flexible and family friendly, built good teamwork ethos."


2006

Won several major tenders, including the University of Hertfordshire. These contract wins were the start of our success within the education sector.


2005

One of our new websites won prestigious awards for their marketing and IT capability in the STEP scheme. www.recycledpromotionalproducts.co.uk won Best Marketing Project in the IT and Marketing category for offering unique industry-related, environmentally friendly products to specific core industries. 

Spirit of Enterprise Awards 2005 - Essex in Boom finalist. We were commended for our keenness to stay one step ahead of our competitors, and for understanding the importance of excellent customer care.
