Creative Logo Bug Campaign Inspires Primary School Pupils
Logo bugs are a popular, low cost promotional product that are ideal for marketing giveaways...
They can be used in many different ways – from perching on a desk, to being handed out in goody bags and used to promote special offers. We’ve had clients produce the shape of their logo out of these quirky companions, as well as hiding them around the building for treasure hunts.
When it comes to the most creative way to logo bugs in the education sector, our client, Pirton Hill Primary School, certainly impressed our team of promotional merchandise enthusiasts.
To encourage extra curriculum reading, the school in Luton created a unique video explaining that their promotional logo bugs are being held captive by the (evil) Head Teacher, Mr Booth. The only way the Pirton Hill’s pupils can rescue the logo bugs is by hitting their reading target.
The hilarious video follows Bert Skyhopper, the brave logo bug who manages to break free from the cupboard and devises an escape plan…but Mr Booth catches them in the act!
Ending with a plea to save the logo bugs, this imaginative approach to using promotional merchandise has been extremely effective and well received by Pirton Hill pupils. We were told directly from the school that the logo bugs are proving to be very popular and that the children are very keen to “save one” this term – looks like Bert Skyhopper and friends will escape after all!
You can view the video on Pirton Hill's website here.
