The Kiki Green ballpen is made from Mater-Bi, a biodegradable material made from corn starch.

Mater- Bi comes from renewable raw materials such as non-genetically modified corn starch. The use of Mater-Bi reduces the need to create products using fossil fuels and also decreases greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption.
