After the first lockdown was announced in the UK in March, all events large and small were put on hold until a safer time. Now that industry trade shows and events are slowly starting to return in what is being dubbed as the ‘new normal’ there will be key things to think about in terms of what delegates will be looking for, as well as the best way to organise your branded merchandise giveaways.

For your branded gifts, freebies and advertising giveaways it is important to prepare for the fact that events may not allow them at all, or you may need to pre pack gift bags in order reduce contact, rather than traditional grab bowls. This does of course pose the dilemma of how to gather that all important attendee data, as that is typically done in exchange for a goody bag of products to remember you by.

One way around this, is to have your own QR code on your exhibition stand.

| How does it work? |

1. Attendees scan the code which is on a huge pop up banner on your stand
2. The QR code links through to a form where attendees add in their details (allowing you to capture their data)
3. Their goody bag is sent direct to their office (or home). The added bonus is that you can personalise their gifts before you send them!

| Although lockdown and most restrictions may be lifted, we all know that Covid-19 hasn’t just disappeared, and is something we are going to be living with for a long time. With that in mind, antimicrobial products are great to offer at events. |

These incredible products are covered in a special coating that can kill or slow the spread of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses and fungi such as mould and mildew.
